Getting to The
Northern Ballet School
Prominently located on Oxford Road in central Manchester,
opposite the northern headquarters of the BBC, the Dancehouse has
good access to the local bus, rail and tram networks.
Car
Dropping off facilities directly outside the theatre. Nearest car
parks are situated on Charles St or Whitworth St.
Bus
Most buses into Manchester town centre stop directly outside the
school. There is a bus stop from town on the opposite side of the
road by the BBC, with a pedestrian pushbutton crossing a few yards
from both stops.
Train
Nearest train station is Oxford Road Station. Exit to Oxford Road
Station via steep approach road or via many steps at the right of
the station.
Visitors coming from outside Manchester may have to change trains
or take the Metrolink from Manchester Piccadilly or Victoria Stations.

Nearest Metrolink stop is at St Peter's Square, approximately 600m
along Oxford Road from the theatre.
